Jarl

Summary

Jarl is a character I have created to use for my own learning experiments. Jarl is both a character and the name of a Unity based top-down shooter game. Jarl have existed in many forms, pixel graphics, 2D, high-poly 3D and low-poly 3D. I ended up using Jarl as a low-poly character and setting a low tris-limit.

Graphics

All characters and environment objects are created in Blender 2.8. When I created the characters, I tried to have a low poly feel to it but still have details. I created high poly characters (with a low poly feel) and baked the normals and reduce the poly count greatly, added textures, rigged, and animated.

Gameplay
